Malta’s Stop: Tuesday February 23rd 2021

International President Richard E. Peck embarked on a World Tour during winter 2020/2021, with the goal of attending (virtually) in a club meeting in every country where Toastmasters has a presence.

Toastmasters Club Malta had the priviledge of welcoming Mr. International President during a lively meeting held online on February 23rd, 2021.

The energetic session themed “Different cultures, shared values” was jam packed with 6 Table Topics, 4 Prepared Speeches and Evaluations, attracting 50+ attendees from around the World, the club audience record to date.

The evening ended with a special edition of the Toastmasters Malta Virtual Lounge, an opportunity for the members to interact and ask questions directly to International President Peck.

Take this unique opportunity to visit clubs anywhere in the World, to learn more about each other and to really see that we are all united and that there is more than just our ability to become better communicators and better leaders, it has to do with our ability to help others: just show up, offer support, help out with a role, that is the essence of Toastmasters, that is what we all need to do. Let’s not focus on the challenge, let’s see the opportunity that is right there in front of us!
